LOFT?? HEIGHT RESTICTING COLLAR BEAMS

can i move up the these collar beams to make a comfortable roof height in my small loft by 1 ft??? is this safe on the roof structure

height of beams=5ft

room dimensions=16ft*7ft

i think its just a basic velux roof conversion iam doin

The collar ties are 8'6" high, and you want them higher? Are you in the guinness book of records by any chance? That's as high as my living room ceiling and I don't bang my head very often.
