Loft legs/stilts alternatives?

It’s been asked before but is there any alternatives to raising the loft floor to accommodate additional insulation?

70% of the loft is boarded with 22mm chipboard and a ton of crap loaded on it! No issues with loading over the last few years. I’m getting the insulation topped up to 270mm so without buying a gazzillion loft legs what else is going to work for less?

Is my only option to cross board with maybe 38x175 rough sawn?
 
You can batten it but then that cuts through the insulation so (very) slight thermal bridging/more cuts in the insulation. hence the legs are a thing as insulation is more continuous
