There are may things to take into consideration with what you are suggesting you want to do...
I, like many others on here, would suggest you get a structural engineer / designer to look at the truses construction in you loft space. These are designed to take the roof wieight plus a very little... (IE snow)...
Moving / Cutting could cause you many unforseen problems.
Just remember they are there for a reason.
Oh and stop the SHOUTING...... turn off your CAPS LOCK.....
You might find that you get some horizontal cracking at the top of your walls if you do because the horizontal members are there to stop the roof trying to spread at the eaves. They will still do a similar job if a bit higher but not quite as well.
