Long masonry drill bit for Combi Drill?

I don't know where the cutoff is, but those are two common sizes I do.
It used to be generally reckoned that the chuck capacity (e.g. 1/4in, 5/16in, 3/8in, etc) size was the maximum size you could drill, but when bigger motors and chucks became the norm in the late 1960s/early 1970s firms like Mason Master and Rawl started to offer reduced shank masonry bits, so it all got a bit confused. I'd still take chuck capacity as being the limit, however, at least for "standard" (DIY/liught trade) electric drills (so I'm assuming we are not talking about those low rpm, high torque industrial drills from the days of yore).
