I have a Baxi Duo-Tec Combi 40HE. Over the last ten days I've had to top up the boiler pressure three times as its been dropping to 0.5 bar. I've checked all rads for leaks and can't see any. The boiler was off for two days whilst we were away recently and it lost 1 bar.

I've also noticed in the last two weeks that one of our downstairs rads (which is usually the hottest and quickest to heat up (ours rads are pretty much balanced)) is either not getting hot or taking ages. The return is hot but the flow is cold. It was spot on until recently.

Happy to undertake most fixes.

Rad could be a few things. Boiler losing pressure - check the safety discharge pipe outside (usually copper) and if it’s wet that’s your answer, if it’s dry try and tie a bag around it.
