I've just moved into a new house and am hoping to add a room thermostat to my boiler. It is a Ariston Intesa Combi Boiler, the hot water is always available and is not dependant of the heating being turned on.
I am not experienced with boiler wiring and wondered if anyone could tell me if I am able to add a cheap room thermostat from the wiring plate on my Lifestyle LP111. Or the other option is to get a new boiler timer with built in thermostat, am I able to fit a wireless unit to my existing LP111 backplate, would it be difficult to add a wireless unit to the boiler with limited knowledge.
