Hey all,
Looking for some guidance before I install my click-fitting vinyl plank flooring. I've never bought it or fit these before, however I've found some online that come with a lifetime warranty and are apparently waterproof.
I intend on fitting them to my bathroom. They already have a 1mm integrated underlay and I'm wondering how to prepare the wooden floor underneath. I've stripped the existing vinyl and there's like a sticky adhesive left.
To ensure it's protected from moisture, shall I apply a liquid DPM, then the flooring without adhesive, leaving an expansion gap? Then seal with a breathable but waterproof caulk?
Does this sound about right?
