Hi all
I have a uPVC door (M3 Floodtec). It was installed 16 months ago (so just outside of their warrantee.... obviously).
I cant lock it from the outside. The handle doesnt quite push up as far as it should; which means the key cant complete its final turn to lock it. So something is preventing something to fully engage. No matter how much pulling/shoving/lifting of the door while trying to turn the key in the lock.
The odd thing is that it locks completely fine from the inside! Simply push the door and turn the handle down and twist the thumb knob and it locks fine. No obstruction, no problem.
Just to be clear: If I have the door opened, it locks fine (from both inside and outside).
I could understand if I couldnt lock the door from the outside AND inside, but what could be preventing the lock to engage ONLY from the outside?
I can take photos to better illustrate the problem if thats easier.
Thanks
