macdee pneumocompact cistern - chrome push button flush?

bought flat which comes with the macdee concealed (6L) cistern with pneumatic chrome push button for the flush.

This no longer works, push button does not push-out air and does not 'rebound' back after a push.

Where can i get the replacement part for this chrome push button? I don't need the entire mechanism, just the push button.

I have exactly the same problem! If you actually unscrew the button from the air plunging device behind it and then you can pull out the air tube from that.

If you blow in the air tube it will flush the toilet (not very hygenic but it will stop unwanted guests coming over).

Its a crap design isnt it. I phoned MFI and they gave me this number for a spare part - phoning it tomorrow: 01204 360700
