Not sure if this is a dumb question or not as I know nothing about plumbing and central heating!

I live in a 2 Bed Semi, we do not have central heating installed as we have have gas heaters in all rooms

I am looking at getting central heating installed in the near future and have been looking at costs etc

I do have a newish boiler which is about 2 years old and it is a Main Medway Super boiler. It is the type that fires up and gives instant hot water.

Can this boiler be used to heat central heating or do I need to purchase and have fitted a whole new system?

Apologies if this seems a daft question

"No", the Main Medway is a water heater only not a central heating boiler so, "Yes", you will have to have a complete new system for space heating.

You could change the Medway for a combi boiler which would do hot water and central heating.
