Discovered on Thursday that I had a burst water main pipe between water meter and stop cock so yes it is my responsibility.
Contacted insurance company who said they would get someone out Monday and repair it. Its the old black pipe.
To me this seems a waste of time to come and repair it when the pipe work is obviously past it sell by date so if it goes once it is more than likely go again.
I didn't fancy no water till Monday so contacted some one to do it.
The run is about 20 foot so he would have to locate were it enters the house and were it comes into the garden from water meter.
Bearing in mind that this is a last minute job and a Saturday could anyone please give me a guide to price I be expected to pay
