Are you talking about the "holey" tables with fleur-de-lyes patterns etc. etc. like the old pub tables ???
If so, yes they are cast, used to be iron but the modern equivalent is the god old mud based aluminium.
If you're talking flat tables....... could be stainless, ally, painted steel, are you looking to make one ?? What are you after ??
