Hi,

Can anyone out there help me.

I have recently purchased a 1930's house. Although I am moving towards the end of the rennovation project, the outside of the house is looking a little tired. The render is sound but due to weathering over the years a mapping effect has occured. I do not want to re-render due to cost. Therefore are there any paints which can be used, that are thick enough to hide the mapping effect??

Heres one...

Not great quality
but it should show you what I mean, basically where the render has been weathered over the years it has become uneven in places, where some areas of top surface (1/2mm in depth has broken away). The render is fine otherwise, however I would like to try and cover this issue with a thick paint of some sort?

I am trying to avoid any re-rendering...

Any ideas??
