As per title, the matt paint that I STUPIDLY decorated the bathroom with has bubbles appearing (mainly on the ceiling) and inevitably started to peel away.

Can I just peel the worst off, and Re-paint over the lot in a suitable bathroom paint to effectively 'Seal the walls' or is it not that straight forward?

Thanks in advance.

There are often a number of reasons for why your problem has occurred, so perhaps a little soon to blame the Matt. Using around 120 grit sand down the affected areas dust off and apply a thinned coat of oil based undercoat, when dry the paints to look for are either kitchen and bathroom or an eggshell finish, just make sure you thin down your first coat around 5%.
