or if you meant between different brands, not much. They are all built to the same electrical specification. But physically they are sometimes a bit different, so they may only fit in a CU from the same manufacturer.
Also, there is an older type sequence type 1,2,3,etc. Similar idea to range type b,c,d, but slightly different current bands.
A MCB has two different mechanisms inside it which cause it to trip. One is thermal, a big current causes it to heat and the switch pops open. This allows a bit of delay if it is slightly overloaded before it opens. The other is electromagnetic, which is the mechanism which causes it to trip very fast if there is a big overload, like a short circuit.
Type B are normal in houses, except that typeB 6A lighting can cause problems.
