hi,

read the forum for a few months and got some great information but this is my first post.

Basically i want to run mdpe from the front of my house round the side to the back along the wall. i have read you should really dig down to 750mm to stop it freezing but this isnt an option for me.

Is there any other option like this for example....

any help appreciated

cheers darren

lagging is great, but in a prolonged cold spell the pipe can still freeze.....

how deep can you bury it? can you run it under your floor internally?

750mm is what you're meant to do, but there's plenty of mains out there that are shallower than that with no issues.
