Megaflo Top immersion not heating properly

Hi to all,

Any ideas, I think that it may be the thermostat, at the moment it appears that the top immersion is only heating to luke warm. The bottom one seems to be working fine.

If it is the thermostat I guess that it is a question of draining the tank, winding out the old one and replacing with new. Is there anything else worth replacing chancing while at this point, or does anybody know of a fix it guide?

The tank is about 3 years old.

If it is the stat then you don't have to drain down. The stat section just pushes into the boss and 2 pins connect onto the element itself
