Hi I have a garden room and need to put some mesh around the base to stop rat and mice problem. Had a pesky little visitor after coming back of a holiday... Bought poison blocks and a couple of bait traps.... And concreted a entry point up and seem to of sorted the issue hopefully. After 2 deaths. Have a small wooden area behind my rear fence and a old mill Lane at the side of me. Going to put 6mm wire mesh roll around the bottom of base, stapled onto base timber and dig a chanel and either emblem the base of the roll into a bed of concrete or mortar then back fill and stone up, which would be best? Leaning towards concrete.
Also ive heard people use deterants like peppermint oil and garlic..... Is this readily available and any advice on products, what about those plug in things
