mg zt noise

I have a constant noise in my car and i think it is coming from the rear brakes. it is a dull duh/duh/duh sound and i think something is catching.

has anyone any ideas what this could be.

Jack the car up and spin each rear wheel in turn to give you an indication of which side the noise is coming from.

Check the tyres carefully, you may have a bulge due to ply seperation, if you have damaged the tyre by running over something.
