I have a microwave that is virtually brand new. We were trying to save space so we put it in the garage over winter and used it from there, but it died after a particularly cold spell.

Is there anything I can do? I can't seem to find anyone who can repair a microwave locally, and it might not be economical anyway. I'm hoping there are some basic things I could try, because it would be a shame to have to throw it away.

P.s., I have tried switching out the plug fuse, and that didn't work. I'm getting no power to the appliance at all.

There was a very recent thread, where the same thing happened after a microwave was stored in a cold garage and how to fix it.
