Miele Model G1180vi
Approx 11 yrs old

Fault:
Toward the end of (almost) every cycle, the Inlet/Drain LED lights – continual beep-beep-beep (error) and the cycle stops.

1-2cm of (dirty) water left at bottom of machine.

Filter must be removed & the remaining water be manually decanted from the filter housing (recess).

Unit must be switched off and the program reset to re-attempt completion.

Occasionally the full cycle will complete successfully, but not always.

Checked:

Non-return ball valve located under drainage filter– no blockage – ball moves freely.

Pump impeller turns (not stuck or seized – no debris detected)

Waste pipe checked for blockages at sink trap connection – none detected.

Any suggestions, please ?
Help much appreciated!

Did you ever resolve this issue? I'm stuck with a similar issue.
At the beginning of the rinse cycle (sometimes at the beginning of the wash), the pump starts for a few seconds and the cuts out.
I suspect the pressure switch which I removed and found full of fat. I cleaned it as much as I could, but I'm still having the same issue.
No fault codes are showing.

Any thought warmly welcomed.
