Miele Washer Dryer - drum not turning

hi

i have a miele washer dryer

switch on to a normal wash and it fills but drum doesn't turm

put it on to tumble dry and it blows hot air into the drum doesn't turn

move the dial to drain and it drains fine too

the belt is in place attached to the motor and spider and can be turned by hand

there appears to be a motor sound when on dryer too.

any ideas ???
