Hi, I've got a maybe 90 year old house, had collapsed drain previously, now I want to add extra fence panels to hide the bins and stop people putting their rubbish in.

I'm getting a company to do it.

Is there a chance the drains can be damaged by having the posts concreted in ?

it's possible. you would have to dig out the post holes carefully to see if there is a drain underneath or adjacent. Do you think there is?

Theres a man hole cover nearby, but I'm not sure exactly where the drain runs

Lift the manhole and run a string following the direction of the outlets
Dig carefully.
The pipe is almost certainly below 12".

Thanks it looks like the fence post should go 600 km down for a 6ft post
