Mira Minilux + diverter ERD

Client has this shower in their bathroom serviced by a Vokera Linea Max. Cold water is mains pressure.

Shower emits a screeching noise when mixing hot and cold water. Screeching stops when shower is set to either cold or hot.

Can anyone offer any feedback on what might be the issue
