Mira Platinum pumped remote shower on a pressurised system

I’m not sure what it all means so I’m not going to get to excited about it. I’ll run with it and if it fails you’ll see me paddling my canoe down Halesowen high street
All it means is that the internals and seals etc are tested up to 1bar, anything else and/or if there's a failure they won't cover it.

You’re spot on, that is what Mira warned me about.
The solution is to put a pressure reduction valve at 1 bar.
Thanks for your interest guys

Yes, and do remember that is their max rated pressure, usually gravity would only be about half that. Only other caveat I would add to that is ensuring that the PRV's fitted can flow enough to satisfy the pump. With 12L/Min @ 0.01bar I am not sure if the flow rises exponentially with the pressure, i.e. how much more will it flow if @ 0.1bar and the same @ 1 bar if that willbe the sustained pressure.

All moot really as you are aware that it is not designed for that - forwarned is forearmed.
