Mira Sports Shower

I have had a Mira Max Sports Shower fitted over four years with no running problems. It now goes to overheat during taking a shower ( red light lit ) and goes instantly cold.
This only happens every other shower.
All ideas greatly received to remedy

Overheat neon lit is due to a flow problem.
It's cycling on the tco if left it should go hot again and keep cycling hot/cold.
Clean shower head of scale (can be soaked overnight in descaler)
Check shower hose for damage inner hose not collapsing or kinked.
Inlet filter clean of scale.
Stopcock/isolation valves are fully open.
