Hi,

Hope this is the right place for this. Basically I put up a wardrobe from Wayfair the other week and annoyingly both sliding doors are misaligned. I’ve searched for generally how people fix them and it always mentions an ‘adjusting screw’ which this wardrobe doesn’t seem to have. Just wondered if anyone could give me some advice on what I could try - thanks!

Photos are attached - it has rollers on the top and at the bottom it has parts that just fit into the grooves.

Show us photos of the roller carriages, and of the misalignment

Hi John, attached several which hopefully are useful. To just describe the alignment issue as well - the left door has a gap going down to the bottom, and the right door is overlapping at the bottom where it should go. For example, if you lift the left door up at the bottom right it’s perfectly aligned - but there’s nowhere to adjust it so that it stays there.

I can't make it out from the pics

Stand back and take a wider pic if the whole wardrobe please

Including both sides and the top and bottom.

I wonder if it is square.

I can't see how the carriages are attached to the doors.

Have you put a level on the floor , is wardrobe sitting level.?
I have yeah, it’s like a tiny bit out but would that be enough to be the issue?

You can see where I’ve circled that the bottom bit doesn’t quite make it to the end, whereas the top does

I think the frame is out of square.
and that the top needs to move to the left

if you can pull the bed out of the way, or tip it on its side, and show the entire wardrobe, it may be easier to see.

Does the carcase have adjustable feet?

Unfortunately not on moving the bed - too much of a job with other things in the way and it being an ottoman. It doesn’t have adjustable feet no

Somebody will know how to adjust a trapezoid into a square.

You will need two wedges under corners.

Measure the diagonals of the wardrobe, of its front face, are they equal ?
