No it's not made up. It's a non selective school so the parents are as bad as parents get.
Bejeezus the parents don't read the rules. Some of them would barely be able to. They turn up at the school and chuck things about and shout at teachers. One Irish redneck turned up with a bible and pounded it into the teacher's desk. Nothing was done, he was a 'best friend' of one of the governors, Irish Sister Immaculata somethingorother.

Nothing to what the muslim parents do if something's taught they disagree with in their school - the stories cross the street.

Perhaps your view of schools reflects what yours was like. Did your kids masturbate in class? Steal the teacher's stuff? Put turds in teachers' handbags?

Yep, had this one a few times. Reply by telling them not to worry as I always wear protection.

The other one when you get to the front of a checkout till queue is "sorry about the wait". My reply of "oh, no need to apologise - you're not that big" always gets a laugh or a frown.
