Hi all,

I am a new member and was hoping for some advice.

I live in a 1930s semi which had a rear solid floor extension completed about 18 months ago. However, recently, I noticed the airbricks form the front of the house, under the lounge bay, haven't been extended under the new floor to the new back wall.

I understand this means there isn't sufficient air flow under the raised floor in my lounge and hallway (the original parts of the house) so would like to know what my options are.

Would it suffice if I put additional airbricks along the front of the house and add new ones down the side meaning the raised floor are was ventilated on two sides. ( the gap between the boundary and the house is about 2m)?

Would this be enough or do I need them at the back too? This is obviously more challenging as I will need to dig up the concrete floor.

Really appreciate any advice before I start getting quotes for the work.

thanks
