Missing knob/lever for old aluminium sliding patiodoor (pics

I have a set of old patio door from the 1980s but I'm missing the lever/ lock turning mechanism from the front, below the handle. Any idea what is missing and any idea of where I could find a suitable replacement to go over the hole?

On the doors it says 'Solair x5' and the glass has a logo 'Royal Doulton Permatuff'

Up until now we have just locked the door with a turn of a screwdriver as we have two other patio locks fitted on the perimeter of the door. I just wanting something to replace the missing piece, or even a faceplate would do, suggestions welcome!
