MIV and MAM

Hi can any one help me with this I have
Just started my gas course only a week
In so early days yet.
I'm trying to wright all the abbreviated words down
So they will stick in my head but I'm having a problem
Finding what MIV and MAM stand for can any one
Tell me. Ed

We have all been there there are a lot of acronyms

MIV = Meter Inlet Valve = A valve fitted upstream of, and adjacent to, a gas meter to shut off the supply of gas.

MAM = Meter Assist Manager = An organisation that works on behalf of the meter owner to install, replace, repair and maintain a meter installation.

Most IGEM documents will have a key terms or definitions page, just make a list you'll soon get them
