Mixer shower doesn't get hot

Hi, I hope you can help. I have a Faucets TD08 mixer shower that was installed about 2 years ago.

The shower will now only run cold or luke warm, never hot, even though there is plenty of hot water in the tank.

Do you think the thermostat has gone so soon and I need a new one?

Could be a broken stat, could just need dismantling and cleaning

Hi

I have since had a Gainsborough shower fitted and a new pump installed and the plumber who did all this has now let me down to finish the job after I have paid him thus far for zero result.....the shower is still only pumping cold water.

The pipe from the cylinder to the pump is hot but from the pump to the shower cold.

Any ideas.....could the pipe going into the pump be blocked or would the plumber have noticed this when fitting the new pump?

some shower pumps need auto air bleeds coming from the pump to the shower

this is normally only a problem if the pump isnt starting properly though but might be worth a try, have a gander in the instructions
