Mixer shower not hot enough anymore

Triton mixer shower, non bar type is no longer hot even on full temp setting.

Any ideas what could be the issue.

I can’t seem how to even get the parts off to take a look.

Then try without the hose, it may be collapsed internally. If this works, then possible thermostat failure.

Yes, Chris is correct. I have been to many twisted shower hoses.

Ok took the hose off. Looks ok.

Turned the shower on. Kicked out boiling hot after a few seconds then went to warm and stayed like that

I can’t seem to get the shower mixer apart. It’s a non bar type one

I have to clean the stainless steel mesh inlet filters on my Mira Excel thermostatic mixer maybe once a year.
Build up of slimy, jelly like stuff ... not much, but enough to slow down the supply of hot water. After cleaning them it feels like a new shower.

It does mean isolating hot and cold supplies, taking off the various plastic bits and bobs, removing securing screws and withdrawing the cartridge completely. cleaning the filters with a toothbrush, greasing the O rings and replacing everything in the right order (and getting cartridge back the right way up too).

But a plumber would charge quite a bit I imagine so if you can do it yourself you'd save a bit.
