mixing additives

I am going to have my first go at rendering.
Can the weather be too cold to render ?
Is it ok to mix additives i.e. waterproofer + frostproofer ? will they still work as effectively ?

You can use additives/ admixtures.
But the weather must be at least 4 degrees c and rising.
