dose anyone no if any of the mk 4 astra diesel vans have the same 1.7td low blow engines as the mk3 vans did?and also would the mk3 astra diesel cars have same low blow engines as the mk3 vans??

The general answer to that is yes.

But make sure the engines have the same "Engine Code" allowing the management systems to match up.

ah ok so how do i find out my engine code???

I don't think the Mk 4 had the same low blow (vauxhall) engine, the engine had alot of problems with cracked heads and head gaskets etc. What is actually wrong with your engine, it might work out better to have your engine repaired
