I have just bought an ex council house and would like to change its appearance by adding mock tudor boarding and rendering. Could anyone please tell me the order in which this job is done......timber or render first, first coat render then timber then second coat render......, any knowledge about this subject would be greatly appreciated ( I'll not be doing the rendering myself)
Thanks in advance :-)

I would say,,,, fix the timber first and then render... The render would then finish to the edges of the mock Tudor boarding, rather than the boarding being fixed on top of the render.

Roughcaster.
