I need Help.
I have recently moved into a new house with a Modena 80E boiler, I think it may be responsible for my problem.
The hot water to all the taps around the house has come to a trickle, it's hot but if i said it takes 30 seconds to fill a cup - thats how bad it is.
The CH is working fine, I have already followed tips on checking the pump which appears to be working ok on all three speeds, the cold pressure is ok and I have no sign of any leaks or sound of hissing Air from anywhere, the pressure indicator goes from -1 to 3, :( I really dont want to admit defeat so I ask if any one out there can offer any advise. my skills are limited but i can follow basic instructions...Thanks

check the cold mains supply to the boiler and isolation valve is fully open.

then you may have a blockage or restriction in the boiler. Best call in a professional.

Pretty sure theres a flow restictor in the flow switch or flow meter as they call it. Worth removing.

Are you in a very hard water area? I think this is one of the ones which suffers if you are, though the flow restrictor would be the first thing to check.

I have the Modena 102.
If you can download the manual from Ferroli website you will see a filter is built into the Domestic hot water flow meter also a flow limiter. Check that both these items are clean as has been said previuosly.

Check flow switch assembly on cold inlet, isolate boiler cold feed and remove it,strip down and clean .If im not mistaken its like a mini
waterwheel inside, spindle gets dirty and slows flow down. Replacements arent cheap, about £70 i think.
Think there are 2 types though ,a straight one and an angled one, but dont quote me on that.
