I got one of these which has a fault

It has two thermal switches such as these in these

One of the switches is upstream of two heating elements, this switch is 130 degrees and the the second switch, downstream on one of the heating elements, is rated at 105 degrees.
The 130 degrees switch is faulty, opening about 10 seconds after switching on.
Anyone got any idea why one switch is 130 degrees and the other is 105 degrees?
