Hi,

I had to re-register my forum account today, probably because its been so long since my last post !

Anyway, glad to see the forum is still going strong :D

I have to repoint the joins between about 100 coping stones / flag stones around the 3 edges of a large flat roof and am wondering if the task would be made easier and cleaner with one of those "cox mortar pointing guns" ?

Im not looking forward to the job as im way too busy but its now essential as most of the original mortar has now vanished.

The stones are quite large and the gaps would easily take a big shot from a gun. Im assuming I could use something like wickes patch repair mortar with this gun ?

These are available from a couple of online stores but sadly not from screwfix.

Any advice would be great,

Cheers

Thanks for that.
The other one has spares readily available so I may get the cox model instead.

Just had a look at the stones and it appears the bed underneath has also gone = 1 day job becomes 3 day job plus loads of hassle with string lines and spirit level.

Now im definitely not looking forward to it but the rain is seeping down into the walls because some total idiot never used a dampcourse underneath them !

Thanks
