Hi, I'm in the process of refurbishing an old dressing table. The drawer has a crude and simple full-mortise lock, the key to which has long since been lost. I am trying to find a replacement and have had no luck at all!! Can any of you guy give me any ideas?

Here is a pic of the original lock (it has absolutely no identification marks).

The dimensions follow:
Body 80mm x 55mm x 7mm
Faceplate: 85mm x 15mm
Distance faceplate to pin: 60mm

Kind regards, Redmoss

Looks like a nice old lock...

Just a thought - find a decent, proper locksmith and see if they can make a key for you - the mechanism won't be overly complex, a simple key should be easy enough for someone who knows what they are doing.
