do i need to buy an expensive underlay to have the best soundproof underlay, for carpet?
I would like it to be cheap to fit. I have very high ceilings so thickness is not a worry, as long as people can still walk through the door frame without bumping a head.
I found "quietfloor plus" but the price is absurd I think... 1.2m x 0.6m £24.50 each. Still I wanna have something that will stop voices etc coming up from below.
