Motherboard RAM capacity

I'm looking to source a motherboard that supports 4GB DDR400 RAM.

Either a socket 478 P4 or a socket 754 Athlon 64 motherboard.

If someone can quote me a model number, I'd appreciate it.

I presently have a Gigabyte P4 motherboard which supports either

2GB PC3200 (presently used)

or

3GB PC2700

Would the extra capacity using PC2700 have any advantage?
