Hi guys, i have read the sticky on condensation but wondered if i could get some more specific advice. I recently bought a top floor flat with parapet gutter so no soffit vents or any eaves. I insulated the loft and put in an extractor in the bathroom and a tile vent for it. Whenever i now go up there it is really hot (more so than the flat) and iv noticed some white patches of what looks like mould. The cavities in the internal walls did run straight up into the loft but these are now covered over with insulation and i wonder if iv blocked the air flow. There are also a couple of old windows up there could the moisture be getting in there? Oddly the mould isnt over concentrated in one area though. The roof looks like it is slate on top of bitumen type felt then wooden planks. Any advice would be appreciated.
