Hope its ok to post it here...(thought I'd have more joy than in the garden section!)

I need to replace a one-and-a-quarter inch 15A/32V glass bodied fuse (by Littelfuse USA - 313 3AG) which is held in the normal 2-part plastic holder..wire in..wire out type. It's on the alternator circuit. The ammeter wasn't showing any charge..and the mower was not charging! The fuse looked ok.. but when I did a temporary fix with a piece of 15A fuse wire the ammeter showed charge..and it is charging. The fuse is dark at one end inside ..on closer inspection.

So to find a replacement....
I found a Camden fuse...:

....which is the correct size and rating.. but not sure if I should get the "Quick-Blow" or the "Time delay" version?? Anyone?

On the original fuse, was there a letter preceding the current rating i.e. T15A or F15A? T = Antisurge (Time delay), or F = Fastblow.

apparently its a delayed (time delay) fuse I need. mods close the thread .
