Ahh, just filed the divorce paperwork (myself) last week and handed it into court. They checked I had filled it in correctly (which I had) and the petition has now been served this week. ....
Cost to myself for filling in the paperwork? Absolutely nothing. (apart from the £340 fee paid into court)
Cost of getting a solicitor to do exactly the same thing?? Apparently £600 is the going rate.
(and I'd still be liable for the £340 fee on top of the solicitors fees)

Not only am i typing away on this keyboard, i'm giving the wife directions on how to get home, she went up near Manchester for a dog behavior coarse, there has been a multi collision on the M5 j4-j5 they are now showing over an hour delay, she is now mobile again not far from Evesham, us truckers have got our uses, my son lent her his tom tom, now there's a waste of space and money...
Thats why there was a delay. She was trying to send you a message on the drums.
Should have given her a mobile phone instead.
