Hi,
I'm looking at putting in a multifuel stove for central heating.
The model most suitable for DHW and radiators puts out 3.7kw to the room.
The room it will be in is approx. 70m³, so the output is probably on the high side but is it far too much?.

It depends on the heat loss from your room. You could look at wood pellet stoves which can fire heating, hot water and have controllable automatic temperature operation.
