Our 3 year old UPVC doors have Saracen Secure (LSH UK Limited) multipoint locks.

The back door handle started not raising fully from time to time meaning it couldn't be locked.
Usually retrying about 100 times brought it back to life.

It wouldn't lock the other night, so I stripped it off the door and WD40'd it, but there was no debris from what I could see.

A tab on the lock on the main gearing seems to be stopping it.
I'm wondering if it's some sort of quick lock mode that's gone wrong?
However the doors have never had this to our knowledge.
We were shown just to lift the handle to lock it and it's never had any "modes" whatever speed you raise it.

Bizarrely, since I put it back it always stops half way the first time and then locks properly the 2nd time...

This only goes wrong when turning the handle spindle, if you move the locks manually by hand they move fully.

This picture shows it in the mode where the lock is only 2/3 out.
It's the brass tab below the sticker.
