Screen tests for the role could begin as early as Friday and go through the next week for its final group. At least four test offers have been given out, and while unconfirmed, three of the four expected to test are Jack Lowden, Callum Turner and Josh O’Connor.

If i had to pick one out of a bad bunch i'd say Callum Turner. He was excellent in 'Master's of the Air', but it'll be interesting to see who the mystery candidate is.

I think he was ruled out months ago. Is he a bit too "hench" for the roll. Isn't Bond always slim, fit and highly skilled and can blend into the crown rather than Idris a big beefy bloke.
Someone more like Tom Hiddleston although he may be a bit too tall.
