Myself versus a hands free car phone.

I have a deep distrust of the smart phone.....I can just about handle the original mobile but that's about it.
Imagine my elation when I managed to use the voice recognition system in my new van.
After making the call and feeling somewhat chuffed, the thing said:
'Shall I send this message to the last caller?'
'No' says I, somewhat bewildered.
2 sec later.....
'Shall I send this message?'
'No!' Bellows I.
2 sec later.....
'Shall I send this message?'
'No! End!' I screamed.
'Shall I send this message?'
For Eff's sake! Will you bloody well pack it in, useless peace of cr@p! What's the matter with you?'
'I have sent your message......' came the melifluous reply.

Try shouting "cancel" next time. Sounds as though your distrust is based on not knowing how they work. I suspect you're the same age as I am.

On the other hand, you managed to get the voice recognition system to work, so that makes you younger/better than me.
