I need to get a clear glass shelf cut, a quarter circle of radius 360mm, to support a 4kg model. I will attach it to the walls with 4 sturdy glass clips.

How thick does the glass need to be?

Any idea before I go to the glass shop?! Ta!

Really? I must say I thought it'd have to be at least 7mm to 10mm!

Admittedly, before I weighed it I thought the model weighed a lot more than 4kg!

Dunno, I'm no glass expert! :p but glass is surprisingly strong. Up it to 6mm and you'll be well away though. Why not ask your glass supplier? They may even have them ready cut. ;)
