Need glass shelf cutting: How thick to support a 4kg model?

I need to get a clear glass shelf cut, a quarter circle of radius 360mm, to support a 4kg model. I will attach it to the walls with 4 sturdy glass clips.

How thick does the glass need to be?

Any idea before I go to the glass shop?! Ta!

Really? I must say I thought it'd have to be at least 7mm to 10mm!

Admittedly, before I weighed it I thought the model weighed a lot more than 4kg!

Dunno, I'm no glass expert! but glass is surprisingly strong. Up it to 6mm and you'll be well away though. Why not ask your glass supplier? They may even have them ready cut.
